Shortly after 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 5, Lt. Gov. Tim Murray will address delegates, supporters and guests at the Massachusetts Democratic Party 2010 State Convention. Tim will be introduced by three guest speakers and a special video presentation before he takes the stage at the DCU Center in his hometown of Worcester.
The Democratic convention is set to bring in thousands of fired up delegates and guests to the city, and will provide a nice boost to the local economy. The Patrick-Murray team is seeking to identify 2,500 new grassroots organizers during the convention with the ultimate goal of 21,700 community organizers by Election Day.
