Tim Murray leads the administration's special council reviewing and coordinating veterans' services in Massachusetts. As part of that effort Tim recently completed his two week military and veterans issues tour, meeting with veterans' groups across the state.

On June 30, Tim met with leaders of the Latino community in Springfield.

In January, Tim Murray announced a pilot program to provide Wi-Fi internet service to commuter rail passengers, piloting the program on the Worcester line. In the wake of the success of the Worcester pilot project, the administration has now expanded the Wi-Fi service to commuter boats.

On June 15 Tim joined U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lisa P. Jackson and other officials to announce more than $185 million in federal Recovery Act funding for Massachusetts.

The funding will be used to finance more than 127 statewide drinking water and waste water infrastructure projects that will protect the environment and the public health.
