The commuter rail line west of Framingham is owned by the private railroad CSX. Any hopes for expanded or improved service on that line, which runs from Boston to Worcester, is subject to negotiations with CSX.

Tim is leading the efforts of the Patrick--Murray administration to improve commuter rail service across Massachusetts and in particular to solve the CSX issue on the Worcester line.
